Community Life
Promote cultural events created by local organizations. MCAC partners to create community events celebrating our artistic economic heritage & our Appalachian heritage; and expands access to a range of visual, applied, and performing arts experiences. By fostering collaboration between arts entities, creative industries, government, civic groups, education, healthcare, and senior engagement, a broader impact will be created.
Empowerment
Connect artists to opportunities to develop their business skills. Research history, visual & performing arts, cultural, craft, & creative industries in the county, to appreciate their role and offer growth consultation. Meet with civic leaders to brainstorm on bringing their wishlists to fruition. Study the socio-economic impact of the arts in our county providing data to support advocacy and funding requests.
Grant Assistance
Help artists and organizations secure funding through personalized grant consultation services. Developing a grant fund to help support local projects that fulfill the mission & vision of the Muskingum County Arts Council.
