    April First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Zanesville! Our Goal: To promote an environment and lifestyle focused on our community joining together through arts of all kinds at the First Friday Art Walk, sponsored by the Artist Colony of Zanesville (ArtCoZ). From food and drink, paintings and sculptures, to music, shopping and the history found in Ohio’s second capital city, art is a part of our heritage – the city was at one time referred to as the “Pottery Capital of the World.” Our history is rich, but we believe our future to be even brighter as we support our friends and neighbors. ArtCoZ First Friday Art Walk celebration reminds us of that every month.

The Doug Hare Trio lays down an energetic mix of rock, indie, hard bop and contemporary jazz that gives the standards a fresh, crowd-pleasing workout. The Whirlybirds are a Columbus based swing & jazz band, bringing up-tempo tunes -- good for the soul. From their well-crafted original tunes to ol' timey covers, you'll love the sound. Transports you to NOLA or Harlem and will be sure to get you dancin.'   • Earth & Fire: 3D Printing & Ceramics

    Join Asa Peller & Zoe Gross for a day of 3D Printing & Ceramics inspired by the concept of ceramics being "fired earth." This program invites children in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade to imagine, explore, and connect with earth and fire through ceramics. Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate Muskingum County.
